The Accounting Chef Loves Xero!
I have been using accounting technology for well over 30 years and have never found one as flexible and easy to use as Xero. As a long time Quickbooks and Microsoft Dynamics user, I was very skeptical. I have been converted because I think it is the most beneficial for YOU, the user of the information.
Benefits:
It is a cloud based system. I was skeptical of cloud systems for a long time but the security is actually better than your local based system. You no longer have to do maintenance updates or upgrades. You always have the latest and most secure software. This alone reduces your risk of disk crashes and cyber theft tremendously. Most data losses I have ever had came as a result of a hard drive crash and bad backup. This is no longer a problem!
Ease of Use. I have not found a system that is as powerful as Xero and as easy to use. One great thing about today’s software is the availability of apps that seamlessly interact with Xero multiplying the power exponentially. You also only pay for what you need. Most accounting systems are overloaded with features that you will never use. Now you can use best in class apps that you need, not paying for someone else’s features. Some of my favorite add ons are listed below.
Anywhere access. Using the free app downloaded from iTunes or the Google app store. You have up to the second information and reports of where you are at anytime/anywhere! Also your accountant or bookkeeper (preferably the Accounting Chef of course) has access to your latest data. No more passing around stick drives and waiting for your accountant or others to look at the data and send it back to you so can start working again.
Landlocked no more. As a business owner you usually had to use an accountant or bookkeeper from your area, whether they were the best for you or not. Now you can get the person or company that is best for YOU. Get great expertise no matter where you live. This also saves money on staffing. Most companies hire a bookkeeper that is there full time with all the costs associated with it. You pay for full time work whether that actual time is needed or not. With Xero and the Accounting Chef’s automations, you can save a lot of money on administrative costs.
Microsoft Dynamics 365
I have used Microsoft Dynamics for well over 20 years (back when it was Great Plains Dynamics out of North Dakota). It is a great solution for medium sized businesses. Very powerful. Well Microsoft is upping their game with Dynamics 365. It is very competitively priced so if you have more complex systems, the Accounting Chef would be happy to set you up with this system.

Great way to build sales pages and systems. The Accounting Chef Loves ClickFunnels! So easy to use. Design your own sales pages, optins, thank you pages and much more. You don’t need to be a computer science major to use ClickFunnels. Use funnel templates already created or design your own. Of course the Accounting Chef could do those for you too if needed.
